Ingredients
  

Cheese

  • 8 ounces Feta cheese, crumbled Use full-fat for the best flavor.

Dairy

  • 3/4 cup Whole milk Greek yogurt Full-fat is recommended for creaminess.

Oil & Citrus

  • 2 tablespoons Extra-virgin olive oil Plus more for serving.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice Squeeze fresh for better flavor.

Aromatics

  • 1 clove Garlic Peel and prepare before blending.

Spices & Garnish

  • optional Aleppo pepper or red pepper flakes For garnish.
  • optional Chopped fresh parsley For garnish.

For serving

  • to taste Pita bread, baguette, or fresh veggies For serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Crumble the feta, squeeze the lemon, and peel the garlic so everything is ready to go.

Combining

  • Add feta, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to a blender or food processor.

Blending

  • Pulse and then blend on medium until the mixture is silky and light, scraping down the sides as needed.

Adjusting texture and seasoning

  • If too thick, blend in a teaspoon of water or more olive oil until you reach the desired creaminess; season to taste.

Serving

  • Transfer to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle Aleppo pepper and parsley, and serve with pita or veggies.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days; stir before serving. For a thinner dip, add olive oil by the teaspoon until you reach the right consistency. Let the feta come to room temperature before blending for a smoother result.
