Preparation

  • Combine the diced watermelon, mango, cucumber, and jalapeño in a large bowl.
  • Add the chopped cilantro and lime juice to the bowl.
  • Mix well until all ingredients are coated with the lime juice.
  • Season with salt to taste, adjusting to your preference.
  • Serve immediately as a dip with tortilla chips, or alongside fish tacos for a delightful meal.

Notes

Select ripe fruits for the best sweetness and flavor. Chill the salsa for a brief period before serving to enhance the flavors. Experiment with adding diced red onion for an extra bite. Make sure to use fresh lime juice, as bottled versions may alter the taste. To add even more complexity, consider mixing in a splash of mango habanero sauce.
