Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 package Pillsbury Original Crescent Rolls (8-ounce) Available at most grocery stores
  • 1/4 cup Butter, softened Can substitute with margarine
  • 1/4 cup Light Brown Sugar White sugar can be used as an alternative
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon Adjust according to taste

Glaze Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar For the glaze
  • 1-2 tablespoons Milk Adjust the thickness of the glaze
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (optional) For added flavor

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Lay out the crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Combine butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon in a small bowl; spread evenly over each crescent roll.
  • Roll each crescent tightly and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for 9-12 minutes until golden brown.
  • Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract (if using) in another bowl until smooth.
  • Allow twists to cool slightly before drizzling with glaze; serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure the butter is softened but not melted to achieve the best spreadable consistency. For an added punch of flavor, try mixing in some chopped nuts or chocolate pieces with the cinnamon filling. If storing for later, press the seams down firmly when rolling to prevent them from unrolling during baking. For an extra crispy edge, brush the twists with a little melted butter before baking.
