  • 1 can (14.5 oz) Diced tomatoes Fire-roasted tomatoes add extra flavor.
  • 1 medium Onion, diced Shallots can be used for a milder taste.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Garlic powder is a quick substitute.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Can use vegetable oil if preferred.
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning Homemade mix is also excellent.
  • To taste Salt and pepper Adjust based on preference.
  • 1 cup Cheese (optional), shredded Cheddar or mozzarella works well.

  • Top with cheese if desired and allow it to melt before serving.
