  • 1 pound Ground Beef Use lean ground beef for lower fat content.
  • 1 cup Cauliflower Rice Fresh or frozen both work fine.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Feel free to use a cheese blend.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For a lighter version, use half-and-half.
  • 1 cup Broccoli Florets Fresh or frozen; thaw if using frozen.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic can be a substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Fresh onion can also work.
  • To taste Salt & Pepper Add extra spices like paprika for more flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add cauliflower rice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Mix well and cook until heated through.
  • Stir in the broccoli florets and heavy cream until combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a spicier flavor, consider adding diced jalapeños or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. Experiment with different cheese types like mozzarella or pepper jack for varied taste. To enhance texture, mix in some crushed crackers or breadcrumbs on top before baking. Pair this casserole with a fresh salad for a complete meal.
