  • 2 tablespoons Vegan Mayonnaise Try flavors like garlic for extra zest.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Freshly ground black pepper enhances the flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation of Tofu

  • Slice the smoked tofu into thin strips.

Sautéing the Tofu

  • Heat a pan over medium heat and lightly sauté the tofu until golden brown.

Preparing the Bread

  • Toast the bread slices if desired.

Assembling the Sandwich

  • Spread vegan mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Layer lettuce, tomato slices, and sautéed tofu on one slice of bread.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Top with the other slice of bread, cut in half, and serve.

Notes
