Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla cake mix, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the cake mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly over the cake batter.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until creamy, then dollop it over the strawberry filling.
- Use a spatula to swirl the cream cheese into the pie filling for a marbled effect.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the cake is set and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving, and dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
