Filling

  • 1 can strawberry pie filling

Cream Cheese Topping

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Fully soften for easy dolloping.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla cake mix, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the cake mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly over the cake batter.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until creamy, then dollop it over the strawberry filling.
  • Use a spatula to swirl the cream cheese into the pie filling for a marbled effect.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the cake is set and golden.
  • Let cool slightly before serving, and dust with powdered sugar.
