  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
For the Sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or gluten-free soy sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup Use maple for a vegan option.
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
For Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss cauliflower florets with vegetable oil and cornstarch until well-coated.
  3. Spread the cauliflower in an even layer on a baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
Sauce Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
Serving
  1. Once the cauliflower is done baking, drizzle the sauce over it and toss to coat.
  2. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
