Preparation
- Preheat your Blackstone grill over medium heat and coat it with cooking oil.
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper, then form mixture into patties.
Cooking
- Grill the patties for about 4-6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- Place a tortilla on the grill, add a sprinkle of cheese, the grilled patty, bell peppers, and onions on top.
- Top with another tortilla and cook until the bottom tortilla is golden and the cheese melts.
- Flip carefully and cook the other side until golden.
- Remove from the grill and cut into wedges. Serve with sour cream or salsa if desired.
Notes
Don’t Overmix the Beef: When forming the patties, handle the meat gently to keep it tender. Cheese Melting: Cover the grill with a lid while cooking to help melt the cheese faster. Customize Your Fillings: Feel free to add jalapeños, olives, or any other toppings you love. Watch the Heat: Adjust the grill temperature if the tortillas are browning too quickly; you want them golden, not burnt. Let the Patties Rest: Allow the cooked patties to rest for a minute before assembling to enhance juiciness. For a spicy kick, consider adding chipotle seasoning to the ground beef or tossing in some sliced jalapeños with the bell peppers and onions.
