Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
Mix-ins / Toppings
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Reese’s Pieces candies

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
  4. Beat in the vanilla and eggs until fluffy.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, then stir in chocolate chips and Reese’s Pieces until evenly distributed.
  6. Drop tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden; allow to cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For chewier cookies, chill the dough 20-30 minutes before baking to prevent spreading. Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature up to 5 days.
