Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Reese’s Pieces candies

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
  • Beat in the vanilla and eggs until fluffy.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, then stir in chocolate chips and Reese’s Pieces until evenly distributed.
  • Drop tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden; allow to cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For chewier cookies, chill the dough 20-30 minutes before baking to prevent spreading. Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature up to 5 days.
