Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla and eggs until fluffy.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, then stir in chocolate chips and Reese’s Pieces until evenly distributed.
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden; allow to cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For chewier cookies, chill the dough 20-30 minutes before baking to prevent spreading. Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature up to 5 days.
