  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil Can substitute with canola or peanut oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) Fresh is best; jarred can work
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger (minced) Fresh ginger adds the best flavor
  • 2 cups Mixed vegetables Options: bell peppers, broccoli, carrots

Sauces and Garnishes

  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce Can use low-sodium for a healthier option
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil Will enhance the flavor
  • 2 Green onions (sliced) Adds freshness
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds For garnish

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  • Push vegetables to the sides of the skillet and add the potstickers in the center, cooking for about 2-3 minutes until they are browned.
  • Pour in soy sauce and a drizzle of sesame oil; stir everything together.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until potstickers are heated through and everything is well combined.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Ensure your pan or wok is hot enough before adding the oil for a great sauté. Cut your vegetables uniformly for even cooking; don’t overcrowd the pan when browning potstickers. Adjust the soy sauce based on your salt preference and let the dish rest for a minute after cooking to allow flavors to meld.
