Ingredients
  

For the Ravioli
  • 1 package frozen cheese ravioli Cook according to package instructions
For the Coating
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated for better flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For Dipping
  • 1 cup marinara sauce Can be replaced with other sauces if desired
For Binding
  • 1 large egg Beaten until frothy
For Frying
  • as needed oil for frying Use enough oil to submerge the ravioli

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the frozen cheese ravioli according to package instructions and let them cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat an egg until well mixed and slightly frothy.
Coating
  1. Dip each ravioli into the beaten egg, ensuring it’s well coated, then coat it thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
Frying
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until shimmering and hot.
  2. Fry the coated ravioli until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove the ravioli from the pan and drain them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  4. Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping, and enjoy the delicious crunch!

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the pan, store leftovers in an airtight container, and feel free to experiment with seasonings. Use fresh ingredients for enhanced flavors.
