Ingredients
  

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup whipped cream (for topping)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix and melted butter until evenly mixed.
  • Crush the Oreo cookies and spread half of them in a greased baking dish.
  • Pour the cake mixture over the Oreo layer and spread evenly.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the milk and chocolate pudding mix until thick, then pour over the cake layer.
  • Top with the remaining crushed Oreos and bake for 30–35 minutes until the top is set.
  • Allow to cool slightly, then serve warm topped with whipped cream.

Notes

Do not overbake; the top should be set but still slightly soft. Use evenly crushed Oreos for consistent texture. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat before serving. For best results, serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
