Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 1 can crescent roll dough Use refrigerated crescent roll dough.

Cheese Mixture

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Add-Ins

  • 1/4 cup jalapeños, diced Use fresh jalapeños for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional) Optional but adds extra flavor.

Spices

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder Adjust according to taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, bacon, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  • Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll the dough up, starting at the wide end, and pinch the edges to seal.

Baking

  • Place the filled crescent bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These crescent bites can be served with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping. For a vegetarian option, omit the bacon or substitute with crispy mushrooms.
