Pasta

  • 8 ounces macaroni

Dairy & Sauce

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Use freshly shredded for the best texture.
  • 1/2 cup milk Add more if the bake seems dry.
  • 1 tablespoon butter For cooking the chicken.
  • 1/4 cup honey

Spices & Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Adjust to taste for more spiciness.
  • Salt to taste

  • Breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the chicken, honey, black pepper, and salt.

Cooking

  • Cook the macaroni according to package instructions and drain.
  • In a skillet, melt butter and add the chicken mixture, cooking until chicken is cooked through.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, cheese, and milk. Mix well.
  • Stir in the chicken with honey sauce.
  • Transfer to a baking dish, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top if using, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Dice chicken uniformly for even cooking and let the dish rest for 5 minutes after baking to set.
