Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup grape soda Use a fruity grapey soda for the best flavor.
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil Can substitute with canola oil.
  • 3 large eggs Best to use room temperature eggs.

Frosting & Toppings

  • 1 cup grape-flavored frosting Store-bought or homemade.
  • to taste sprinkles Optional, for decoration.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, grape soda, vegetable oil, and eggs; mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling them about 2/3 full.

Baking

  • Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.

Frosting and Serving

  • Frost with grape-flavored frosting and top with sprinkles if desired.

Notes
