Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh or frozen, thawed if frozen.
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil Can substitute with melted butter for a richer flavor.
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Adjust to taste; more garlic can intensify the flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped Flat-leaf parsley is recommended for a better flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh rosemary, chopped Can substitute with dried rosemary; use less due to intensity.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Freshly squeezed offers the best flavor.
  • To taste Salt and pepper Add to enhance flavors.

Instructions

Preparation Phase

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped rosemary, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Cooking Phase

  • Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
  • Spread the shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

Serving Phase

  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor; if using frozen, ensure they are fully thawed and patted dry. Don't overcrowd the baking sheet; this allows the shrimp to roast evenly rather than steam. Adjust the garlic according to your personal taste for a milder or stronger flavor. Consider adding red pepper flakes for a spicy kick. For a more intense herbal flavor, let the shrimp marinate for 15-30 minutes before cooking.
