Baking Process

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cream together the softened butter and sweetened condensed milk in a mixing bowl until well combined.
  • Add the vanilla extract and mix until thoroughly incorporated.
  • Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or nuts.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Ensure your butter is softened properly for the best texture. For chewier cookies, bake on the shorter side of the cooking time. Consider adding various mix-ins for unique flavors.
