Ingredients
  

Cucumbers
  • 5 pieces Persian cucumbers
Seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tbsp sesame oil
  • 0.75 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 0.5–1 tbsp sugar Adjust to taste
  • 0.75 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp chili oil Adjust according to spice preference
Toppings
  • 0.5 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 0.5 tbsp garlic, minced Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse and slice one end of the cucumber at an angle. Continue slicing at an angle until the entire cucumber is sliced.
  2. Add the cucumber slices to a bowl, sprinkle with 1/2 tsp of salt, mix well, and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
  3. Drain excess water and rinse cucumbers, returning them to the bowl.
  4. Add sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, chili oil, sesame seeds, and minced garlic to the cucumbers.
  5. Stir until all ingredients are well combined and serve chilled.

Notes

Choose fresh cucumbers for the best taste. Chill the salad before serving for enhanced flavors. Feel free to add other veggies or proteins to customize the salad.
