  • 1 pound Juicy shrimp, peeled and deveined Substitute: peeled chicken pieces for chicken; adjust cook time accordingly
  • 3 cups Broccoli florets Use fresh for best texture; frozen works if thawed and drained
  • 3/4 cup Creamy garlic sauce Homemade or store-bought Alfredo or garlic cream works well
  • Salt and pepper Season gradually to avoid oversalting
  • Optional spices Try red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, or lemon zest for brightness

Instructions
 

Sauté Garlic and Shrimp

  • Sauté the garlic in a hot pan with oil until fragrant and slightly golden, about 30 seconds.
  • Add the shrimp and cook until pink, flipping once so both sides lightly brown and finish evenly.

Steam Broccoli

  • Add the broccoli to the pan and a splash of water to steam, covering briefly to soften.
  • Once the broccoli is tender, stir in the creamy garlic sauce to coat ingredients evenly and warm through.

Season and Serve

  • Season with salt, pepper, and any optional spices, tasting and adjusting seasoning as needed before serving.
  • Serve warm on plates or over rice or pasta, garnishing with lemon zest or parsley if desired.

Notes

Pat shrimp dry before cooking to promote a golden sear. Use a hot pan and moderate oil to sauté garlic quickly. Season incrementally and taste after the sauce is incorporated.
