  • 1.5 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes Use high-quality steak for best flavor
Pasta
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half or non-dairy cream
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese Experiment with other cheeses as desired
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
Spices
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adjust the amount to taste
  • to taste Salt and pepper
Aromatics
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
Toppings
  • Chopped parsley or extra Parmesan for serving

Method
 

Cooking Pasta and Steak
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add steak cubes, season with salt and pepper, and sear for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned but not fully cooked.
Making the Sauce
  1. Reduce heat to medium-low, add butter and minced garlic (if using) to the skillet, stirring until melted.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and mix well, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Cajun seasoning until smooth.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
  2. Return steak bites to the skillet; simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes or until everything is heated through.

Notes

Serve with a simple green salad, crusty garlic bread, or your favorite steamed vegetables. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
