Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the cinnamon roll dough and cut it into small pieces.
Filling
- In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Assembly
- Take each piece of dough, flatten it slightly, and place a small spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
- Dip each sealed bite in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar.
Baking
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with extra powdered sugar, or pair with a cream cheese glaze or maple syrup. For a salty-sweet contrast, serve alongside bacon-wrapped pineapple bites. Store cooled bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
