Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 package cinnamon rolls Ready-made cinnamon roll dough.
Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Use room temperature for best results.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar For sweetness.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Adds flavor.
Coating
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar For coating.
  • 1/4 cup melted butter To help cinnamon sugar stick.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the cinnamon roll dough and cut it into small pieces.
Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Assembly
  1. Take each piece of dough, flatten it slightly, and place a small spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center.
  2. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
  3. Dip each sealed bite in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar.
Baking
  1. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with extra powdered sugar, or pair with a cream cheese glaze or maple syrup. For a salty-sweet contrast, serve alongside bacon-wrapped pineapple bites. Store cooled bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
