Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 1 package cinnamon rolls Ready-made cinnamon roll dough.

Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Use room temperature for best results.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar For sweetness.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Adds flavor.

Coating

  • 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar For coating.
  • 1/4 cup melted butter To help cinnamon sugar stick.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the cinnamon roll dough and cut it into small pieces.

Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

Assembly

  • Take each piece of dough, flatten it slightly, and place a small spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center.
  • Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
  • Dip each sealed bite in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar.

Baking

  • Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with extra powdered sugar, or pair with a cream cheese glaze or maple syrup. For a salty-sweet contrast, serve alongside bacon-wrapped pineapple bites. Store cooled bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
