  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Garlic powder can be used in a pinch.
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, minced Use powdered ginger as a last resort.
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce Low-sodium soy sauce is preferred.
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil Can replace with olive oil but will alter flavor.
  • To taste Salt and pepper Adjust to your preference.

Preparing the Base

  • Heat sesame oil over medium heat in a large pot.
  • Add ground chicken, garlic, and ginger. Cook until the chicken is browned.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer.

  • Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
