Preparation

  • Whisk together soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and smoked paprika in a bowl.

Marinate the Chicken

  • Place chicken drumsticks in a resealable bag or dish, then pour the marinade over them.

Seal and Refrigerate

  • Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.

Preheat Cooking Device

  • Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.

Remove and Discard Marinade

  • Take the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade safely.

Cook the Drumsticks

  • Cook the drumsticks on the grill or bake them until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C), approximately 30-40 minutes depending on the method.

Notes

Marinate overnight for deeper flavor penetration. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked through.
