Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rolled oats Use gluten-free oats for a gluten-free version.
  • 1 cup Nut butter Peanut butter or almond butter work well.
  • 1/2 cup Honey or maple syrup Maple syrup adds a unique flavor.

Optional Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Mini chocolate chips Dark or milk chocolate can be used.
  • 1/2 cup Dried fruit Consider raisins or cranberries for added sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup Chia seeds Adds fiber and omega-3 fatty acids.
  • 1/4 cup Nuts (chopped) Almonds or walnuts give extra crunch.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, nut butter, and honey until well combined.
  • If using, fold in chocolate chips, dried fruit, chia seeds, and nuts for added texture and flavor.
  • Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper and press the mixture evenly into the bottom.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until set.
  • Once set, cut into bars and store in an airtight container for fresh snacks anytime.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing. Use a spatula to press the mixture into the baking dish for a uniform thickness. Experiment with different nut butters for unique flavors.
