Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Chicken wings Drumettes and flats can be used
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter Used for flavor; can use olive oil as an alternative
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated is best for flavor
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Adjust to taste; roasted garlic adds sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust according to preference
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper Freshly cracked for best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder For added garlic flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped Optional, for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a rack on top.
  • In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are fully coated in the butter mixture.
  • Arrange the coated wings on the rack in a single layer.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are crispy and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Ensure the wings are patted dry before coating to achieve a crispy texture. For extra flavor depth, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes to the butter mixture. Use a food thermometer to check for doneness; the internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C). If you prefer a more intense Parmesan flavor, increase the amount of cheese slightly in the sauce. Toss the wings in a little extra melted butter before serving for an even richer flavor.
