Ingredients

For the French Toast
  • 2 large eggs Use fresh eggs for best results.
  • 1/2 cup milk Dairy or non-dairy milk works.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Use pure vanilla extract for best flavor.
  • 4 slices day-old thick-cut bread Brioche, challah, or Texas toast work well.
  • Butter Butter for cooking Use real butter for flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Add more for extra flavor if desired.
  • Maple syrup Maple syrup for serving Use real maple syrup for the best taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your Blackstone griddle.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak briefly.
Cooking
  1. Add butter to the griddle and place the soaked bread slices on it.
  2. Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2–3 minutes per side.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with maple syrup.
  2. Top with fresh berries, sliced bananas, or a dusting of powdered sugar for extra flavor.

Notes

Use day-old, thick-cut bread for better soaking. Keep the griddle at medium heat to ensure even cooking. Work in batches and keep finished slices warm in a low oven.
