Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry Store-bought is easiest
  • 1 cup Cooked Beef Shredded, any leftover beef works well
  • 1 cup Sliced Ham Can substitute with turkey or chicken
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or your choice
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Mustard Can substitute with Dijon or regular mustard
  • 1 Egg (for egg wash) Gives a golden color to the pastry
  • Salt and Pepper To taste, freshly ground recommended

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  • Layer the cooked beef, sliced ham, and shredded cheese evenly over the pastry.
  • Drizzle honey mustard over the top and season with salt and pepper.
  • Roll the pastry tightly into a log shape.
  • Cut the log into slices about 1-inch thick.
  • Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each pinwheel.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Ensure the puff pastry is cold before rolling; this will help maintain its flaky texture. You can experiment with different types of cheese or add spices to customize the flavor. Don't overcrowd the baking sheet for even cooking.
