  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard Yellow mustard is a good alternative
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil Other oils like avocado oil can be used
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Fresh minced garlic can also be added
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper Freshly ground for best flavor

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the honey mustard mixture over them, ensuring they are well-coated.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Allow to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the honey mustard mixture for a few hours or overnight. Use a meat thermometer to check the chicken's doneness accurately. Consider broiling the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes for a caramelized finish. Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or salad for a complete meal.
