Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the bacon strips in half.
- Wrap each pineapple chunk with a half piece of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
- Place the bacon-wrapped pineapple on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle brown sugar over the top of each piece.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve with a tangy dipping sauce like ranch or sweet chili. These make a great addition to charcuterie boards. For a spicy twist, add a slice of jalapeño with each pineapple chunk before wrapping with bacon.
