  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Use panko for extra crunch.
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika For color and subtle sweetness.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • Fresh parsley For garnish (optional).

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush each chicken breast with olive oil, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in olive oil and garlic for 30 minutes before coating. Experiment with different spices in the breadcrumb mixture for unique twists on flavor. If you have time, let the coated chicken rest for 10 minutes to allow the coating to adhere better during cooking. Serve the chicken with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for a refreshing taste.
