  • 4-6 Banana Peppers, halved Fresh or pickled can be used.
  • 1-2 tablespoons Olive Oil Can substitute with avocado or vegetable oil.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper Freshly ground is best for flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Cheese (optional) Cheddar, mozzarella, or feta work well.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder (optional) Fresh minced garlic can be substituted.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the banana peppers in half and remove the seeds.
  • Brush the inside of the peppers with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if desired.
  • Place the peppers in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Cook for 10-12 minutes or until they are crispy and slightly charred.
  • If using cheese, sprinkle it on top of the peppers in the last 2 minutes of cooking.
